When you're raising a child who is struggling and in distress, it's easy to feel lost and overwhelmed. There's so much advice, expectation, fear, and worry that can cloud your intuition. You may find yourself wondering if you’ve failed, if you were meant to be a parent, or if it will ever get easier. The reality is, there is no one "right" way to parent - especially if you're raising a child with unique needs and challenges. About me: I am a licensed clinical social worker in the state of California. I specialize in supporting parents/ caregivers of children 0-10 who present with challenging behaviors, sensitive nervous systems, anxiety, school challenges, or who otherwise seem to need an “out oft he box” approach. I am not a “one size fits all” therapist, and we will work together to find solutions that work for you and your child.
